From necessity
to pure devotion
When the entire family turned out to be lactose intolerant, and their youngest daughter refused every bite of meat at just three years old, a flavourful journey began. Step by step, Melissa and Mario immersed themselves in vegetarian cuisine, and later fully plant-based cooking—discovering along the way what truly lies behind the food we eat.
Melissa’s passion for cooking soon translated into tables filled with natural, homemade delights. Before she knew it, coffee houses were knocking on her door for her vegan cakes. Through a series of catering projects, Melissa and Mario showed just how versatile plant-based cuisine can be—culminating in a wedding feast where, just the two of them, they delighted no fewer than one hundred guests.
Driven by pure curiosity, Mario followed numerous flavour-focused trainings and can talk endlessly about coffee. Several years ago, he completed his first professional barista certification.
